Student Advocacy Specialist 2025-26 School Year. Duties include: • Coordinating the efforts to identify and facilitate appropriate interventions for students with or at risk for mental health concerns • Coordinating, documenting, evaluating and reporting the outcomes of Tier 1 and Tier 2 behavioral health training programs • Attending information and training meetings related to school safety and student behavioral health. 1) Coordination of Behavioral and Mental Health Interventions: support systems to identify students at risk; analyze attendance/discipline/academic data and screening tools; support behavioral threat assessment; ensure timely referrals and access to supports (school-based, telehealth, local providers, community programs); coordinated case management; track referrals; coordinate transition/support plans; monitor outcomes/effectiveness; develop partnerships with community providers; maintain reference resources. 2) Tiered Behavioral Health Training and Support: coordinate/document/evaluate Tier 1 prevention; support required staff training; build Tier 2 targeted supports; facilitate Tier 3 intensive supports and coordination. 3) Collaboration, Documentation, and Compliance: document/evaluate outcomes; attend required state trainings; collaborate with safety and threat assessment teams. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field (or comparable experience) with PSC certification; exceptional communication; experience with MTSS. Preferred: coursework/experience in data analysis and data-driven decision-making.
