Teacher - SPED Speech/Language Pathology 2026-27 School YearFLSA: Exempt-CertifiedREPORTS TO: Director of Special Education and Building PrincipalQUALIFICATIONS: Current state teaching certificate in Special Education; Bachelor’s degree; positive interpersonal skills; demonstrated team building skills; positive behavior management skills; knowledge of the Special Education process and laws; excellent organizational, oral and written skills; computer skills and knowledge of assistive technology are desired.TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 190 Day ContractESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS include supervising the special education process from screening through identification and IEP development, assisting with IDEA implementation, coordinating programs and procedures, organizing and ensuring completion of evaluation reports and IEPs, ensuring compliance with laws and procedures, screening transfer and new referrals, monitoring evaluation timelines, facilitating integration and co-teaching, and other related duties.OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS include assisting with reports, training, inclusion facilitation, attending related meetings, maintaining confidentiality, and other duties as directed.
