POSITION TITLE: Daycare Substitute. FLSA: Exempt. REPORTS TO: Daycare Director and Elementary Principal. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: As Needed. QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or GED; experience working with children and parents from diverse backgrounds preferable; internal training module required before first assignment. JOB DESCRIPTION: Assist staff with activities in accordance with curriculum objectives and developmentally appropriate practice; maintain open communication with parents; maintain confidentiality; report suspected abuse; arrange classroom environment; maintain a safe/healthy environment; report accidents; inspect/replace materials; attend inservice and staff meetings; keep appropriate records; meet all applicable licensing regulations; other duties as assigned.
