Position Title: School Bus DriverSite: Transportation OfficeReports To: Director of TransportationPrimary Function: Provides for the safe operation of the assigned bus and control of passengers while transporting to and from assigned education center or school-related functions.Requirements: Certification/Licensing: CDL driver’s license with P & S Endorsements.Proficiency Skills: Written and oral communication, supervisory skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, interpersonal skills.Personal Skills: Pleasant personality, cooperative attitude, physical skills and stamina to perform essential duties.Essential Duties include prompt and regular attendance, professional communication and conduct, compliance with regulations and ethics, confidentiality, professional appearance, participation in training, initiative and responsibility, limiting personal business during work, driving designated routes on schedule, pre- and post-trip inspections, fueling, delivering bus to maintenance, timely reports, attending safety meetings and training, and other duties as assigned.
