A paraprofessional assists teachers with classroom management and organization and supports students’ physical, personal, academic, and emotional needs. Paraprofessional Certification: valid GaPSC paraprofessional certificate required (can be completed within first 30 days). Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and meet one of: 60 semester/90 quarter hours; associate’s or higher degree; or have passed applicable paraprofessional assessments. Filing skills, computer skills, classroom management, and other duties as assigned.
