DESCRIPTION: A paraprofessional assists teachers with classroom management and organization, providing a positive and nurturing guide for students and attending to physical, personal, academic, and emotional needs. Paraprofessional Certification (GaPSC) required (may be completed within first 30 days). Applicants must have at least a high school diploma or GED and meet one of: 60 semester/90 quarter hours; associate’s or higher degree; or passed state paraprofessional assessment. Filing, computer skills, classroom management and other duties as assigned.
