JOB DESCRIPTION: The special education paraprofessional assists the teacher in daily classroom activities, helps special needs students, and cares for their physical and emotional health and safety. Paraprofessional Certification (GaPSC) required (can be completed within first 30 days). Applicants must have at least a high school diploma or GED and meet one of: 60 semester/90 quarter hours; associate’s or higher degree; or passed state paraprofessional assessment.
