The special education paraprofessional assists with daily classroom activities and supports special needs students’ safety and well-being. Certification: valid GaPSC paraprofessional certificate (can be completed within first 30 days). Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and meet one of: 60 semester/90 quarter hours; associate’s or higher degree; or have passed applicable paraprofessional assessments.
