Position Title: SUBSTITUTE School Bus Driver. Site: Transportation Office. Reports To: Director of Transportation. Primary Function: Provides for the safe operation of the assigned bus and control of passengers while transporting to and from assigned education centers or school-related functions. Requirements: CDL driver’s license with P & S Endorsements. Proficiency Skills: Written/oral communication, supervisory skills, ability to handle multiple tasks, interpersonal skills. Essential Duties: Maintain prompt and regular attendance; demonstrate appropriate communication; act professionally; comply with diversity guidelines and all regulations/policies; maintain confidentiality; maintain professional appearance; participate in training; assume responsibility with minimal supervision; drive designated routes; perform pre/post-trip inspections; fuel bus; deliver bus to maintenance; submit required reports; attend safety/training sessions; other duties as assigned.
