This position is for the 2025-26 Remainder of the School Year. Teacher - Science (Grades 6-8). QUALIFICATIONS: Must hold proper state certification. REPORTS TO: Principal and/or other Supervisor. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 190 Day Contract. FLSA: Certified Exempt. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS include participating in curriculum review and design, implementing effective instructional strategies, diagnosing and evaluating student abilities and progress, monitoring progress and adjusting instruction, planning a program of study to meet individual needs, creating a classroom environment conducive to learning, assessing accomplishments and providing reports, referring students for alternative services, implementing district initiatives, and collaborating with department and grade level teachers. OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS include following board policies, attending meetings, protecting students and property, maintaining records, serving on committees, remaining current on instructional practices, and other duties as assigned.
