Teacher - Early Childhood (Grades K-5) 2026-27 School Year. QUALIFICATIONS: Must hold proper state certification. REPORTS TO: Principal and/or other Supervisor. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 190 Day Contract. FLSA: Exempt-Certified. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS include participating in curriculum review and design; implementing effective instructional strategies; diagnosing and evaluating student abilities and progress; monitoring progress and adjusting instruction; planning a program of study that meets individual needs; creating a classroom environment conducive to learning; assessing accomplishments and providing progress reports; referring students for alternative services; implementing district initiatives; collaborating with department and grade level teachers. OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS include abiding by statutes, policies and regulations; attending meetings; taking precautions to protect students and property; maintaining accurate records; serving on committees; remaining current on instructional practices; and other duties as assigned.
