Teacher - SPED Speech/Language Pathology 2026-27 School Year. FLSA: Exempt-Certified. Reports to Director of Special Education and Building Principal. Qualifications include current state teaching certificate in Special Education and bachelor’s degree. Responsibilities include supervising the special education process from screening through IEPs, implementing IDEA, coordinating programs and diagnostics, organizing evaluation reports and IEPs, reviewing documents for compliance, screening transfer records, monitoring evaluations and timelines, facilitating integration, and collaborating with general education teachers for co-teaching.
