POSITION TITLE: Daycare Substitute. FLSA: Exempt. REPORTS TO: Daycare Director and Elementary Principal. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: As Needed. QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or GED; experience with children and parents from diverse backgrounds preferable; complete an internal training module before first assignment. JOB DESCRIPTION: Assist staff with activities aligned to curriculum objectives and DAP; maintain open communication with parents; maintain confidentiality; report suspected abuse; arrange classroom environment per program goals; maintain safe and healthy environment and report accidents; inspect/replace damaged or lost materials; attend in-service and staff meetings; keep appropriate records (attendance, time sheets, accident reports); meet all applicable licensing regulations; any other duties as assigned.
