Position Title: School Bus Driver. Site: Transportation Office. Reports To: Director of Transportation. Primary Function: Safe operation of assigned bus and passenger control while transporting students to/from school or functions. Requirements: CDL driver’s license with P & S Endorsements. Proficiency Skills: Written/oral communication, supervisory skills, ability to handle multiple tasks, interpersonal skills. Personal Skills: Pleasant personality, cooperative attitude, physical skills and stamina. Essential Duties include: prompt and regular attendance; professional communication and conduct; compliance with regulations and PSC Code of Ethics; maintain confidentiality; professional appearance; participate in training/workshops; show initiative and perform tasks with limited supervision; maintain time on task and cooperative attitude; limit personal business during work hours; drive designated routes per schedule; perform pre- and post-trip inspections; fuel bus; deliver bus to maintenance per schedule; submit reports timely; attend safety meetings and training; perform other duties as assigned.
