A paraprofessional assists teachers with classroom management and organization and supports students’ physical, personal, academic, and emotional needs. Paraprofessional Certification Information: valid GaPSC Paraprofessional Educator certificate (may be completed within first 30 days). Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and meet one of: two years of college (60 semester/90 quarter hours), an associate’s or higher degree, or passing the GACE/Praxis Paraprofessional Assessment. Additional requirements include filing skills, computer skills, classroom management, and other duties as assigned.
