This is NOT A CURRENT JOB OPENING and is an INTEREST LIST ONLY for any FUTURE CCMHS SPED CLASSROOM ASSISTANT/PARAPROFESSIONAL positions. The special education paraprofessional assists teachers with daily classroom activities and supports students’ needs. Paraprofessional Certification: valid GaPSC Paraprofessional Educator certificate (can be completed within first 30 days). Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and meet one of: two years of college (60 semester/90 quarter hours), an associate’s or higher degree, or passing the GACE/Praxis Paraprofessional Assessment. Additional requirements include filing skills, computer skills, classroom management, and other duties as assigned.
