Position Title: SUBSTITUTE School Bus Driver. Site: Transportation Office. Reports To: Director of Transportation. Primary Function: Provide for safe operation of assigned bus and passenger control while transporting students. Requirements: CDL driver’s license with P & S Endorsements. Proficiency Skills: Written/oral communication, supervisory skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, interpersonal skills. Personal Skills: Pleasant personality, cooperative attitude, physical skills and stamina. Essential Duties include prompt and regular attendance; professional communication and conduct; compliance with regulations and PSC Code of Ethics; maintain confidentiality; professional appearance; participate in training/workshops; show initiative; perform duties with little supervision; maintain cooperative, hard-working attitude; limit personal business during work hours; drive designated routes; perform pre-/post-trip inspections; fuel bus; deliver bus for maintenance per schedule; submit reports timely; attend safety meetings and training; perform other duties as assigned.
