Position Title: School Bus Driver. Site: Transportation Office. Reports To: Director of Transportation. Primary Function: Safe operation of assigned bus and control of passengers while transporting to and from education centers or school-related functions. Requirements: CDL driver’s license with P & S Endorsements. Proficiency Skills: communication, supervisory skills, multitasking, interpersonal skills. Personal Skills: Pleasant personality, cooperative attitude, physical stamina. Essential Duties include prompt and regular attendance; professional communication; professional conduct and customer service; compliance with regulations and ethics; confidentiality; professional appearance; training participation; initiative and responsibility; time on task; limiting personal business during work hours; driving designated routes; pre-/post-trip inspections; fueling and maintenance scheduling; timely reports; attending safety meetings/training; and other duties as assigned.
