Job Summary
A Quality Auditor Crew Leader is responsible for verifying the product complying with regulations and customer requirements. Assists departmental supervisor/manager in the performance of his/her duties as assigned by that supervisor/manager regarding those associates within the group assigned This role involves preparing inspection reports, maintaining and calibrating testing equipment, and ensuring production processes are not disrupted by quality testing. Key duties include identifying areas for process improvements, reporting anomalies, and ensuring compliance with both company policies and legal regulations. The position requires strong organizational, technical, and problem-solving skills, as well as basic proficiency in software like SAP, Excel, and Word
Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
Tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:
· Acts to determine root causes of problems reported and through internal co-ordination, propose the necessary corrective actions to reduce rejection rates and non-quality costs in line with agreed targets
· Coordinates and train quality team members in order to assure they perform duties according to defined quality standard and procedures
· Supports the collection and reporting of NC Costs
· Takes an active role in maintaining company ISO certification performance of internal audits
· Implements standardized reporting formats and KPI’s
· Works on a cross-functional team to support in intervening issues that may occur with quality
· Supports management with quality records and database information
· Performs internal and site installation quality audits
· Ensure corrective actions are implemented by production
· Acts as a mentor to lower level quality team members
· May assist in interviewing candidates and contributing to evaluations of lower level quality team members
Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Skills
Required:
· High school diploma or GED
· 2 years of experience as an Inspection or quality technician
· Possess a high energy level, have ability to multi-task. Be team oriented. Possess discipline in processes and procedures.
· Able to work with minimal supervision.
· Must have basic computer skills to include SAP, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
