Job Summary
The Material Handler is responsible for maintaining inventory in the warehouse and supplying production lines with necessary parts. Key tasks include pulling material from stock, staging or issuing it to production lines, and accurately recording all transactions in SAP. Additional duties include conducting inventory control cycle counts and random audits. The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
Tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:
· Responsible for pulling material out of stock and either staging these parts on a parts cart for the production lines or issuing the parts directly to the production lines.
· Responsible for recording every transaction made into SAP and must maintain legible and accurate records.
· Responsible for inventory control, cycle counts and random audits of materials.
· During the probationary period must demonstrate the talent, desire, and the ability to acquire necessary skills and knowledge of methods, techniques and procedures.
Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Skills
Required:
· High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Associated Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
· Must have basic computer skills to include Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
· Must achieve forklift certification through Kysor Warren.

Working Environment & Conditions/Physical Requirements
· Wear required PPE, including steel toed safety shoes, at all times, follow 6S procedures, participate in preventative injury exercises, and comply with all job-related work instructions.
· Lifting up to 50 lbs. may be required. Must be able to work up to 12 hours/day, 7 days/week as required.
