Job Summary
Material Point is responsible for coordinating the delivery and staging of all parts, parts carts and sub -assemblies (to include ends and coils) on the line in their designated stations. Ensures that all parts carts are staged properly.
Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
Tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:
· Perform daily cycle counts of inventory on production floor and in the warehouse(s)
· Publish daily cycle count results
· Research inventory discrepancies
· Maintain labeling for all physical spaces where material is stored (a place for everything and a label for every place)
· Verify Inventory on stock outs and shortages
· Maintain and improve relations with warehouse personnel to optimize the movement of materials throughout the warehouse(s) and production floors. Analyze material movements and report performance
· Assist Procurement department in maintaining and improving all inventory replenishment systems
Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Skills
Required:
· High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency
· Physical inventory and cycle counting experience
· Some experience in Excel and a respective SAP system preferred
· Ability to formulate solutions and resolve issues in a timely manner
Associated Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
· Ability to communicate throughout the organization in written and verbal form.
· Ability to apply simple math concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situation.

Working Environment & Conditions/Physical Requirements
· Must be able to walk on concrete floor from 8 hours a day depending on production needs, with occasional overtime
· Heavy or constant visual attention that is required when performing job
· Ability to lift 35 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds team lifting, raising or lowering an object from one level to another, including upward pulling
· Ability to handle job materials, sizing, holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with the hands
